Summary:
Morbidity and mortality (M&M) presentations are generally accepted as an opportunity for group interactive learning, discussions, and suggestions for potentially avoiding future complications. Traditionally, the goal of M&M conferences is to provide a forum for faculty and trainees to explore the management details of particular cases wherein morbidity or mortality occurred. In our conference we will utilize this approach for our expert panel to present cases that represent significant learning opportunities for the audience to attain clinical pearls and how to avoid pitfalls. We will also allocate time for further questions by the audience to interact with the experts as it relates to their cases at the end of the session.
